Grief Support
& Aftercare
We offer a full grief library at the funeral home to those
suffering from a loss and interested in checking out an appropriate
title or video. We also have information about several area grief
support groups which meet on a regular basis in our area. There are
groups for grieving widows and widowers, parents who have lost a
child and there is also a grief camp for children who have lost a
family member. Check out the links below for additional and more
detailed information .
The Care Community
The Care Community is a website where families can find
information and help learning about grief topics. You can
also join a live forum to talk about your specific grief issues.
Please access our link to this wonderful resource for families that
have experienced a death or are facing elder-care issues. We highly
recommend this site as a help to those in grief.
Hearts for Hope
Hearts of Hope Grief Camps are overnight camps held
several times a year to help children who have experienced
the loss of someone special in their lives. These camps provide a
safe and encouraging environment for children who have experienced
a loss. Hearts of Hope Camps and their new Teen Retreats are
offered free of charge to participants because of the support
of the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association members.
It is managed and directed by the Children's Grief Connection.
